The combination of Cristie Recovery CoBMR and Cohesity DataProtect provides a high-performance, secure backup and recovery solution. Designed to safeguard your data against sophisticated cyber threats, it offers the most comprehensive policy-based protection for your cloud-native, SaaS, and traditional data sources with the added protection of complete system recovery, all from your native Cohesity DataProtect backups.
CoBMR also provides recovery assurance through simulated recoveries which can be scheduled to run at desired intervals. Each simulation job fully automates the creation of the recovered machine and then performs post-recovery test scripts to verify integrity and functionality.
Simulation schedules can be set up months in advance and planned so that an entire server infrastructure is tested over a specific timeframe. Recovery machines can be hosted within an isolated network and released after every simulation so that storage is not permanently required.
Detailed reporting highlights any problems encountered and provides an audit trail of results which can assist compliance reporting or help to verify internal disaster recovery performance.
