Cristie CoBMR and CBMR can automate the recovery of physical systems at scale for Cohesity DataProtect and Veritas NetBackup users respectively.

Physical system recovery can be performed to similar or dissimilar hardware with automatic driver insertion. Optional pre and -post boot scripts can be run to orchestrate additional disaster recovery processes.

Physical systems can also be recovered to virtual and cloud based systems with automated or customized resource provisioning. Cristie CoBMR for Cohesity and standalone CBMR can recover systems in any direction between physical, virtual and cloud targets.

The recovery is executed in a secure, isolated clean room environment on the Cristie Virtual Appliance (VA)—ensuring zero impact on production systems.

This process validates the integrity of the backup and confirms that the operating system can successfully boot and operate as expected, giving Cohesity users continuous proof that their recovery strategy will work when it matters most.
