Cristie VA 5.2.1 What’s New
Here’s an update on what’s new for the Cristie Virtual Appliance. The 4.8.1 release includes lots of new functionality and bug fixes which bring with it a wealth of benefits.
Cristie NBMR System Recovery for Networker protects your critical servers by recovering them directly from your Networker backups.
Powerful features remove complexity and manual intervention from your recovery workflow. Recovery simulations can be scheduled to ensure your disaster recovery plan will work when you need it most.
NBMR is re-sold globally by Dell and its channel partners as a recommended recovery solution and is available for both perpetual and subscription based licensing.
Dell Networker and Dell Avamar are core backup solutions within the Dell Technologies portfolio. Backup of application data is a vital step in the defense against cybercrime, or any other disaster scenario, however the recovery of physical systems including operating system configuration, applications and user profiles can be the most crucial and time-consuming task within the recovery process.
Adding NBMR to your Dell Networker backup environment allows additional recovery of the OS, applications, user configuration and data to any point in time available in your Dell backup software.
NBMR can be installed without the need for additional infrastructure, or optionally, all recovery operations can be configured and controlled through the Cristie Virtual Appliance (VA) console. The VA adds a range of powerful automation features to the recovery process including DR orchestration tasks and recovery simulation with comprehensive reporting.
