Today we are pleased to be releasing  a new version of our BMR Suite 9.1 to production. The suite consists of ABMR, CBMR,CoBMR, NBMR and TBMR.

Each 9.1 BMR product is immediately available as a separate download from the Cristie Licensing portal download area.

Common to all BMR products

  • CDS has been removed & replaced with a smaller service for VA communication.
  • Fixed recovery of LUKS encrypted volumes for Linux recoveries.
  • Recovering from Virtual to Physical, causing a reboot for D/H breaks the post recovery IP settings.
  • Fixed partial recovery failures when btrfs is not root filesystem.
  • Store DHCP info for network interfaces in config.
  • Added PowerShell to Windows recovery ISOs.
  • BMR_management log was not copied as part of the log bundle (Linux only).
  • Linux recovery environments now boot with a unique hostname.

ABMR


  • Now supports Dell EMC Avamar clients in the range version 7.2 to 19.3 inclusive.
  • Fixed an issue where the recovery would sometimes appear stuck on the “Successfully connected to backup server” stage.

CBMR


  • Now supports IBM Spectrum Protect clients in the range version 7.1.1 to 8.1.11 inclusive. Version 8.1.11 of the client is now included in both the WinPE5 and WinPE10 DR environments. Server versions supported are 7.1.1 to 8.1.11.
  • Windows installation on Windows Server 2008R2 shows missing desktop shortcut icon.

CoBMR


  • Initial release

NBMR


  • Now supports Dell EMC NetWorker client/server version up to 19.1.1.0/19.3 respectively..
  • CRISP now checks the extended client is installed before allowing you to build an ISO.

TBMR


  • Now supports IBM Spectrum Protect clients in the range version 7.1.1 to 8.1.11 inclusive. Version 8.1.11 of the client is now included in both the WinPE5 and WinPE10 DR environments. Server versions supported are 7.1.1 to 8.1.11.
  • Fixed spurious file count briefly showing when restoring.
  • Fixed incorrect handling of virtual mountpoints (Linux only).
  • Image backups not always shown in list of volumes to restore.
