Both CBMR and TBMR are re- sold globally by IBM as the BMR solution for TSM users. CBMR provides complete data protection as well as the ability to recover critical servers from scratch within minutes whilst TBMR allows TSM users to recover their servers direct from TSM without having to perform any additional backup of the operating system files. Both CBMR and TBMR provide the ability to recover servers to different hardware - dissimilar hardware recovery.

CBMR also works in conjunction with Legato Networker, CommVault and Bakbone software to provide total disaster protection.
